Q. do you have an online portfolio or a resume? can I hire you?
A. my online portfolio is this site, essentially. my resume is available through
the info, or you can request it directly from me via email. for any job inquiries,
please email me with a job description, location, and requirements.
Q. where are tutorials on your site?
A. there are no tutorials on my site, but i have developed a few for some friends'
sites. there are lots of really good tutorials online with tons of information.
if you want to know a certain technique that i used for a particular image,
just drop me an email!
Q. can i use some of your pictures?
A. just because my pictures are on the web, it doesn't mean they are public
domain. please ask before you use any pictures from this site. i am not
mean and stingy, but respect my wishes if i do say "no." i don't
mind if you use a picture as a wallpaper for your desktop - i do mind
if you print out my pictures, use them as avatars, use them for your website,
or edit them in any way without asking for permission first. also, please
give credit to me if i do allow you to use a picture.
Q. do you take commissions/requests?
A. my time is limited, so requests aren't really feasible for me right
now, sorry. if you would like to set up a commission, i.e. paying me to
draw/design for you, then please email me. please do not be upset if i
can't meet your requests at this time!!!
Q. why don't you update every day?
A. um...because i have a life outside of my website and a thing called a "job."
i can't always get to the computer because life calls.
Q. will you ignore me if i AOL IM you or email you?
A. No. i diligently answer all emails sent to me [with the exception of
spam] and if you can find me on AOL IM, then go ahead and IM me. sometimes
i am busy, so don't always expect a full-length conversation from me.
Q. have you taken any professional art classes?
A. i took all of the art classes my high school offered and the college
art classes i have taken: sculpture, drawing I and II, design I and II,
intro to computer art, intro to computer design, advanced computer art,
advanced computer design, advanced graphic design I and II, visual communications
and graphics I and II, typography, and fine art photography. i have a
bachelor of arts in graphic design.
Q. is this your only website?
A. i own/maintain this website and i maintain other journals
under the names tatertott, kittyarcade, and weeniers. i only post art under my name and the nicknames weenie, weeniers,
and tatertott and the art archives that i use/have used are deviantart,
vcl, and side-7. Deviantart
is the only active online archive i use at this time.
Q. i don't like your design/art.
A. that's nice. now go away.
Q. can i borrow some of your web design/graphics?
A. no. if you need help making graphics, just ask. there are plenty of easy
to follow tutorials on the web and you can get your inspiration from anything
you see around you.
